This year, my daughter's school decided to go for
uniform. Since she has only one more year, I tried to find something
in the closet. White shirt with collar. Of cause it's supossed to be
no writing on. so, it was not going to be used.

My ex-husband is grand-son of Blues guitarist, vocal
, Pee Wee Crayton. One day, he
brought this promotion shirt home and gave it to me. Logo was turqoise,
my favorite color so, I wore it sometimes. He did not bring actual album,
I did not find out if he knew this artist or the promotor of him.

I've been listening jazz radio station, KUVO lately.
One day, afternoon houst, Carlos had a guest in the studio. I wasn't
deeply paying attention but when they played his song, "...this
isn't jazz. Wait! Did he saiy Lonnie Hill?" That old R&B like
sound brought me alum title "You got me running".
|
|
I called Carlos. Y: the guest you just had...did he have album "You got me running"?! C: yeah but that's long time ago... Y: I think he's my ex-husband's friend. C: Oh, he'll be at Jazz@Jacks tonight. I checked in Amazon, LP only. 1984 Hmm. |

The back up chorus ladies tambaline was so professional
sound. I was impressed.
|
The base guy was Lonnie's brother. After one dong
started, Lonnie was making hand sign to the drum guy to turn down. It
made sense though. He knows up and down.
