This is the first time I saw Latin jazz rythm live so good. They just play look so easy.

 

He found young boy in the audience and told him to come up.

D: do you play any instrment?

B: Yes, trumpet.

D: do you know Cliford Brown?

B: ah, no. (hmm, he's young..so..)

D:do you know Miles Davis?

B: ah, no.(audience goes a little uhh)

D:do you know Kenny G?

B: ah, no.

D: that's good. ( big laugh in audience)

Luke..he can play. He sounded like he can play wide range of music. Latin like this time, regular jazz. When Dave was talking like preacher, he started play one of church song.

The show started witout Dave Valentin and they already sounded good. Each one's play excellent, play together as well. Jazz!! Dave and Luke came from out of town, they never played with these drums, base and percussion in town guys before. I've never seen these people before. Now, I want to see them again. Denver, Colorado, yeah.

He plays melody with base not just rythm of broken down code. I was wondering if it was base or guitar since it got 6 strings.

He's intown musician? I've never seen him. I have to catch him again.

Dave's play is another level. His play, talk and action are all together in the performance. He is funny still plays good. He sing and play fluit same time ( like blow a half of breath?) unison of singing and playing.
