It's ordinary summer day, leaving town around 1PM.

Everytime when I go to mountain concert, I enjoy the view.

Usually, I just ride but this time I have to drive.

The dead trees looked spooky.

We past Winter Park. The way to WP looks pretty good but after that, the scene is not so pretty, already 2hrs past but only a halfway through.

Playing Chris' CDs in the car. Driving so long, feel like we never get there. "I'm not gonna do this again!"

Heaaaay, what's that? Neat rocks.

That was the best thing on the way.

Water...since place is Steamboat, it got to be water there...

Mayumi's phone goes down the battery, she had gps on but turned phone off. Mine is low on the battery. I wonder the mountain got to do with it. We need car charger. I had mapqwest printed out. We saw the sign. Oh, yeah!!

Last year on Aspen, Sy wore turqoise dress and I like turqoise. She wore it in another city. We (forum people) saw it. Red Rose in Texas offered to make similar dress for me. That's what I'm wearing.

I picked up actual tickets at will call window.Yes, she gave me section A, row C 10 and 12!! I know it's front row. It's end of the row but it's small venue, I know Chris hangs around slitly right side...( well, I guess it was the case only one key. Lately, 2 keys so, not really just right side.)

There was a time to the door open but we were tired, we didn't look around. We just stayed in the car. The gas gage of the car looked funny not going down. There's another gage and its number going down....since the parking was free, I put some gas. We didn't see any Shell station to use card. If it was one more week later, We would be able to eat something nice, I could give some gift to Chris....

 

Mayumi was saying, "I think Chris Botti was in there." Hmm, yeah, I heard man's voice sounded like him testing mic...."yeah, the door was open but a man came and shut it. See, you were goofing around taking picture 'n' staff. You could've seen him." Hmm, yeah. oh, well. I'm sure he'll have meet & greet.

When we were coming from parking lot, a couple of people were directing trafic. A guy pointed out my poser and said "what ou got?" " Oh, the poster, when he was Colorado Symphony last year..." I opened and show him. He said he picked Chris from airport. " yeah, that's him. Maybe you have good luck to get autograph." The other lady said "yes, he'll come out." and nod her head.

The door is open. We went in and a lady wants to direct us to the seat. " What do you have? Oh, section A.." I was already start walking to my seat. She started saying " row C is 3rd row.." "no, no no. it's 1st row." Talaaan.

I and Mayumi sat down. My next seat arrived. She said she got 6 of Chris' CDs but this is her first time live. I sugested to check his website and sign up forum. I forgot her name. We'll see.
